I want to invite you into my journey of what God convicted my heart of and challenge you to pray and discern for yourself.

I’m sharing this out of a heart of love, I care about people and even if I can just speak into one person’s life, it’s worth it. I will ask kindly, seek the scriptures for yourself, pray and ask the Lord for discernment and do your own research. I just want to share a short story what happen to me and I do not want it to happen to anyone else. During the pandemic, when the churches first shut down, they were closed and the church we were previously attending had closed and they were closed for a time. In search of wanting to be feed more, I was hungry for God’s truth especially the season I was in, separated from my husband. I was bombarded by so many different ministries that I have never even heard of, there seem to have been a flood of prophetic ministries, from Lana Vawser, Nate and Christy Johnston, Jolynne Whittaker, Ryan Lastrange so called Apostle and calls himself anointed. Kimberly Jones, known as Real Talk Kim her ministry is out of order and her teaching is riddled with error, it’s called Progressive Christianity, motivational, new ageism is what is seen here. I just want to make it clear NAR – New Apostolic Reformation and Progressive Christianity are different but have similarities.
First off, this cult theology is rooted in pride and takes Scripture completely out of its full context an intended meaning to suit their ideology. They claim to have a higher knowledge and keep people dependent upon humans, they have puffed up visions and dreams that are not a reality. It’s pure witchcraft. No one can tell you your destiny, only God and His Word has authority over or lives. They speak of impartations, false “prophetic” movement called: (NAR – New Apostolic Reformation), the “prophecies” are always going to happen in the future but never happen? In their delusional “prophecies” God is always “getting ready” to do something sometime in the future yet their false words neve come to pass. NAR, is a love of this life. A virtual obsession with this life. Their hope seems not in the eternal but in usurping the power of God to extend this life. When You put Your faith in Christ Jesus and trust Him as Your Savior, we are given the Holy Spirt, and every child that belongs to God, the children of God are anointed. Theses ministries do not lead you to the cross, to Jesus, or the Gospel, they pull you further away from the LORD, their doctrine is not sound biblical doctrine. I admit I followed these ministries because I thought we are all Christians, following the truth of God’s Word, I was not listening to everything they were saying, but I kind of did get caught up into their nonsense. The Holy Spirit truly does convict us and something will not sit right (meaning you know there is something off but cannot pin point it) but when you line up what they are saying and doing, to the Word of God, you can quickly see it is not sound doctrine, it is not biblical.
Second, these ministries are nothing but a form of Gnostics they claim to possess an elevated knowledge, a “higher truth” known only to a certain few. Gnosticism comes from the Greek word gnosis which means “to know.” Gnostics claim to possess a higher knowledge, not from the Bible, but acquired on some mystical higher plane of existence. Gnostics see themselves as a privileged class elevated above everybody else by their higher, deeper knowledge of God. Progressive Christianity mimic’s so many similarities to Gnostics as well as Christianity in some of the same ways, they use similar language and words, they acknowledge the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, but have you ever noticed their main focus is self, self-centered, creating a better self, a better You,” the focus is You, or themselves, they use words like search your inner self. Their pursuit is self-acceptance. The Bible tells us to deny, ourself.
It was by Lana Vawer’s Ministry, that I was introduced to The Passion Translation. Which is not the Holy Bible at all, I admit I was captivated by it, because it was extremely poetic, this book abandons all textual accuracy, it enthralls a person to a false god. I read it for about a year, and this false book, through me off track, brought confusion, I knew something was not right but could not pin point it. The bible is clear that we are to be watchmen and expose false teachers. The copyright is from 2018, TPT was not translated by credible bible scholars, who have studies biblical languages. This person interpreted the bible however he wanted to his name is Brian Simmons, who claims Jesus visited him personally and brought him to the library of heaven and asked him to write this translation. Same thing that the Mormons book did, having Joseph Smith who wrote a false book. Another cult. There is no error in the WORD OF GOD, The Holy Bible is the perfect Word of God, it stands the test of time and is relevant. Warning: stay far away from this false book TPT and far away from these false ministries, false teaching, false prophets. It grieves my heart and I am so sorry I ever shared this translation, this false book with anyone and these ministries. I am deleting the posts I have made using the TPT translation. Sound doctrine is relevant and transformational. It matters what we believe. Everyone has a doctrine, it’s simply what a person believes. It is so imperative that we stick and stay with the true authentic Word of God, the Holy Bible, we must abide with Christ. Stay. Remain. It’s just Jesus and His Scriptures. We must align our thinking to be consistent with the Scriptures.
