Proverbs 25:15,
By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone.

"Wise words are more valuable than much gold and many rubies." {Proverbs 20:15}
A redeemed Daugther of God knows that she must put her words into practice (be on guard) and not use her words carelessly. Every wise woman builds her house, but a foolish one tears it down with her own hands (Proverbs 14:1). She needs the Lord’s grace, wisdom, and knowledge to guide her and teach her. Her heart’s genuine desire is wanting to be a wise woman who chooses her words wisely, fitly spoken, and all for his glory. Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen (Ephesians 4:29).
The wise in heart are called discerning, and pleasant speech promotes instruction (Proverbs 16:21).
She desires to use her words to encourage, inspire and build up. She wants to speak life, the law of kindness, to be faithful upon her tongue. She opens her mouth with wisdom, And on her tongue is the law of kindness (Proverbs 31:26).
She prays, reads, studies God’s word, and depends on the power of the Holy Spirit. She asks for the Lord to instruct her in His ways to walk in His grace and that her words may bring healing and edification.
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones (Proverbs 16:24).
The heart of the wise teaches his mouth, And adds learning to his lips (Proverbs 16:23).
May we be reverent in behavior and speech. May we be reverent women whose heart’s desire is to be well-pleasing to the Lord and not man.
You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34).
Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge… Proverbs 22:17, 18
Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them. For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them but the rebellious stumble in them (Hosea 14:9).

Of course, I fall short and make many mistakes, but I am so thankful for God’s saving grace and His transforming power. We can accomplish anything through Christ Jesus, our LORD, and Savior. May God give us hearts of repentance, that we may confess our sins and admit the truth when we fall short and miss the mark. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). We must surrender to the will of God and always know that we need His help, abide in Him, stay with Him. Let us press on towards the Goal. He is so faithful to help us with all that we need.
“Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction.” {Proverbs 18:20}
Dear Heavenly Father,
We need your guidance, and we need your help with everything in our lives. Please make us aware of the words we choose. May we make the most of every opportunity to be gracious and kind with the words we speak. May we honor and respect people with the words we choose to say. Please allow us to yield to the Holy Spirit, filling us afresh each day as we yield daily to the Holy Spirit’s work.
Please give us kind, gracious, wise, respectful words to speak. Please enable us to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. We thank You, Lord, for all that You are. Have Your way in our lives. Thank You for Your kindness, mercy, and grace—more of You and less of us.
In Jesus Holy Mighty Name, we pray.
A gracious woman gains respect… {Proverbs 11:16}
Awaiting His return,
