Let us Look to Him with eyes fixed heavenward…
by VANESSA WHITE

A merry heart does good, like medicine,
{Proverbs17:22}
But a broken spirit dries the bones.
Each morning, when we arise we can set the tone in our homes, We can choose to wake up each morning with a merry heart and joyful attitude no matter the circumstances because we can rejoice in the Lord. He is unspeakable Joy. He is an unshakable foundation, the rock of salvation, protector, sustainer, redeemer, restorer, comforter, chain-breaker, peace that surpasses all understanding, the bedrock on which we stand, healer, deliverer, shelter, the cornerstone, the living water, the bread of life, the Word. He is the beginning and the end. Omnipotent, omnipresent, He is always present. He never fails, He never will. He is mine and I am His. We can arise and take our cares and concerns to Him, for such a time as this. For the woman of faith she must realize if she chooses to be frumpy and dwell on her problems, issues, circumstances rather than focusing her attention on her Precious Heavenly Father, and Glorious Savior, Christ Jesus her LORD, His beautiful majesty, and His perfect promises, she looses sight of the blessings that today’s journey can bring.
I must admit when I am dissatisfied, irritated, frustrated, my broken spirit truly dries my bones. It saps all my strength leaving me mentally exhausted and physically fatigued (tired, drained, weary.) So I have learned to take my broken spirit, this empty vessel and let God pour His love in my heart and how graciously He gives us what we really need. I pray that the Lord will help us cultivate a merry heart no matter the circumstances, the trials, the sufferings, or the pain, and even in the mundane of things.
Let us Look to Him with eyes fixed heavenward… The Mercy, Grace, Love, Peace, Gentleness, Kindness He gives to us, let us extend those beautiful characteristics to others; being merciful, gracious and cheerful. Let us be our Husbands, and our children’s number #1 Cheerleader. And if you are not married you can cheer on your dad, brothers, uncles, co-workers, friends and family. Let them see your beautiful light. Being a woman is a wonderful and glorious blessing, and I do not mean this in a feminist way. Biblically, God’s design for womanhood, setting an example, we can set the tone for those all around us. We just have to arise above the circumstances and Trust God being Joyful in Him. Amen!?
Jesus is our greatest reward and I just want to hear; “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’” Matthew 25:21
let our eyes and hearts be set on eternity because one day, the Bridegroom King will come and get His Bride (the Church).
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” Revelation 21:1-5
