Read Isaiah 44 and 45
Some scholars reject the idea that this 18th-centry prophet Isaiah could have so precisely predicted the name of the future king over 150 years before the events occurring during his reign; Cyrus was a pagan king, even if he failed to trust exclusively in the Lord, God used him, king Cyrus knew the sovereignty of the One true God. But these scholars are perplexed that the prediction is absolutely true. The whole point of these prophetic passages is that God is the one true God because He alone could predict the future. And the people of Israel were called to be witnesses, they have been told of future events long ago. Isaiah 44:8.
Do not fear, nor be afraid; Have I not told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’

In reality, the accuracy of the prophecy in Isaiah 44:28-45:1 absolutely validates Isaiah as a true prophet and provides proof that Yahweh, holds all history in His hand, He is the One True God. God truly knows the future. God is sovereign and controls all events, He rules the universe, nothing is missed by Him. He has a plan for humanity and He has a plan for you and for me. You can confidently trust the LORD; throughout scripture it points to Christ Jesus. Scripture, as well as historical events carved in stone, written down by historians, linguists and archeologists (some are even unbelievers!) Proves God’s Word is true, search the scriptures the evidence is all around, seek the LORD while He can be found.

Some bible experts define prophecy as history written in advance. Only God knows all things. We can rest in His love and sovereignty.
