The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes (Psalm 19:8).

I recently read this quote in a commentary, which is such a profound message. It said, “A sensible housewife attends to her house and family. The foolish woman neglects her husband and children and wonders why her family goes to ruin.

Is it possible for a woman to tear down her home by too much religious activity too?”

What a question to ponder!

May we pray the scriptures and God's divine will.

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it (Psalm 37:5).

Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken (Psalm 55:22).

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 15:57)

LORD Father God, You are mighty and holy and all-k

LORD Father God, You are mighty and holy and all-knowing. Give us the courage to speak Biblical truth with love and grace boldly. Make our speech salty so that others will thirst for You.

And now, Lord, consider their threats, and enable Your servants to speak Your word with complete boldness (Acts 4:29).

LORD, as we see the days approaching, the Bible says, in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 ... that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

LORD, you are worth it all, that we should give our all to You. Please help us to walk faithfully. Now is the time to seek Your face. Help us to raise godly children, all for Your glory and Your good. Help our children to be trained in godliness and righteousness, all by Your marvelous grace, to use their gift of language for the glory of God, and please do not let our children indulge in their own selfish desires. Let their speech be used to serve others and to tell of You LORD the gospel of their salvation. Your Word tells us that those who engage in godless chatter, the more ungodly they will be (2 Timothy 2:16). Lord, help them to store their treasure in heaven. Help them not to think of the here and now but set their minds on the things above-- eternity with You.

So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12).

I will sing of Your Love Forever. You are Faithful and True.
