Virtuous Woman

Don't be proud at all. Be completely gentle. Be patient. Put up with one another in love.
Ephesians 4:2
Advice like that never gets old!
Lord Father God, please help us to be the women you have called us to be. Help us to extend grace, to freely forgive as you so graciously forgive our sins. Help us to be our husbands greatest cheerleader and a great teammate. Please pour your strength in us and please enable us to use our words to build up and convey respect. May we always give you the glory in everything we do. May we have hearts filled with your peace, love and gentleness.

Hungry for Truth

A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash. {Proverbs 15:14 NLT}

The world echoes many foolish things and as women we have a choice to listen to God's unswerving truth or listen to the faulty lies of the world's mantra. A wise woman is hungry for the truth of God's Word and relies fully on the Grace of the LORD. She exhibits Christ confidence and knows that her value and worth is in Christ. She pays no attention to what the world defines as a
successful woman. She knows that she is successful in whatever she puts her hands to do. God's strength is within her always.

Many thanks to You, Heavenly Father, for the truth of Your word is sincere and steadfast. Thank You LORD for not defining success, the way the world does. Thank you LORD for continuously blessing the work of our hands daily. I respectfully request that you help every woman to exhibit Christ Confidence; to rejoice in the work that you have called her to do. You are our inheritance. You are our delight and You are, forever, our true treasure. May
we be wise woman who are hungry for your truth. May we be women of vision and know that we are building a foundation for eternity. Our GOD is able!

Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed. {Proverbs 16:3}

Truthful words stand the test of time, but lies are soon exposed.
{Proverbs 12:19}

Gently Whispering

My heart has heard you say, "Come and talk with me." And my heart responds, "LORD, I am coming." {Psalm 27:8 NLT}

In the business of life while the noise is all around, my heart yearns for solitude and motherhood has got my hands full. Deployment has my heart and energy in so many places. I long to cultivate friendships but during this season of life, I'm called for full-time duty to my husband and precious children. It's not easy and I'm often called to serve when I don't feel like it. I'm called to love when I feel the bottle of my heart is empty. I'm called to encourage when I feel depleted of strength and energy. I'm called to give when I feel I have nothing left to give. In all my weaknesses, In all my failures and in all my disappointments, there He is in the midst of all shadows. My heart hears GOD'S calling, gently whispering; "Come and talk with me." And my heart responds, "LORD, I am coming." {Psalm 27:8 NLT}

Will you come and talk with Him? He's waiting; He's there to refresh you and fill your every need.

Elegant Speech

The words we speak along with the tone of our voice speaks volumes. Kindness connects with hearts leaving lasting love and impressions. I want to be a woman of gracious speech. I do not want to be abrasive with my words because I know that kind of speech is not persuasive. I want to honor GOD in the tone of my voice. I want to be a woman who is sweetly kind, yet lovingly stern, when I need to be.

LORD Father GOD, guide our every word. Help us to be wise in the words we speak. Father GOD, I know, I need your help in this area of my life and actually, I know I need Your help in every area of my life. Please help me to weigh my words, help to hold back careless words that do not need to be spoken and help me to speak the right words when I do have hard things to say. I want my words and speech to be pleasing to You O Lord. Show me how to truly think, before I speak. LORD, I want to be closer to You. I want to honor you in every single area of my life. I want my words to bring joy and encouragement to my husband and children's lives. May our speech be spoken with love & kindness. Please forgive me LORD for all the careless words I have spoken.

My lips will glorify You because Your faithful love is better than life. {Psalm 63:3}

The Light Shines

             Dear LORD, You are the Light of the world, you turn our darkness into light. Thank you LORD, for calling us out of darkness and shining your light in all the dark places of our hearts. LORD Father GOD we lift up our lost loved ones to You. Please O' LORD, call them into Your glorious Light. Please fill their hearts with Your Grace and Truth. May they come to know You and experience Your true joy. May they no longer walk in darkness but may they walk in Your Light. Please help us not to lose hope or give up praying for them. Thank You so much LORD, for Your Grace and Truth. In Jesus Name.

Encouragement for the Military Wife

She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
{Proverbs 31:17}
        Military Wives, do you realize the work and tasks that the LORD so graciously gives us leaves lasting impressions upon hearts? We leave behind legacies and build for eternity. God has called us to be that generation that calls upon the name of the LORD. This world will never commend us for living bold, courageous, godly lives. So ladies, let's roll our sleeves up and look up with our chins up. We can smile and do our work and tasks with joy and peace in our hearts because of Christ's strength within us. We can look ahead to God's rewards. The work and tasks God has given us to do has great value and lasting rewards forever and ever. Remember - "Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished!" {Luke 1:45}

Heart check: Do I appreciate and value the work God has given me? Or do I look to people and statuses for my self-worth and value?
It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.
{Ephesians 1:11a, THE MESSAGE}

Dignity and Strength

She is clothed with Strength and Dignity: She can Laugh at the days to come.
{Proverbs 31:25} emphasis added.

Lovely Ladies, you are daughters of the Most High; the Ruler of the Universe; The KING of all kings. You are far above rubies, diamonds and pearls. We were bought at a price, therefore, we belong to GOD, His treasured possession. Women of Dignity and Strength, remember, with God we can laugh at the days to come. Keep looking up even if the seasons have brought you down or the enemy is pressing in, on every side. GOD, is in control of it all. HE directs the course, HE has the final say, Victory and Power are in HIS Mighty hands, Glory and Honor belong to Him.
James 4:10 tells us, “Humble yourselves before the LORD, and He WILL LIFT YOU UP.”
Our GOD is Bigger and Mightier than any problem, trial or obstacle we may face. Sweet Ladies, let's keep our focus and thoughts heavenward.

The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.
{Job 5:10}

Tea Time with God: Have Thine Own Way, LORD

Have Thine own way, Lord!
Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Have Thine own way, Lord!
Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.

Have Thine own way, Lord!
Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
     Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.

Have Thine own way, Lord!
Have Thine own way!
Hold o'er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.

Adelaide Addison Pollard, 1907

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

A Military Wife's Prayer

LORD Father GOD, we lift up our Military Men (our heroes) to YOU. May they walk with integrity and honor. May they walk in such a way that honors YOU. Prompt our husbands to invite You into the secret places of their hearts. Search their hearts and illuminate anything that is hiding in the shadows. May they enjoy walking in the light, as You are in the light, that they will not tolerate even a hint of darkness. Strengthen them O LORD. May Your Grace and Love surround them.

May we be women who stand by, build up, lift up, encourage, assist and inspire them. Women who love lavishly with Christ's Love. My Lover is mine and I am his... {Song of Solomon 2:16} ♥

LORD, revolutionize my world for Your Glory. May I stand by my hero. Whisper in his ears LORD, that I believe in him; that he has what it takes to be the Leader, the man that You have called him to be. Change me O LORD. In JESUS' Precious, Holy, Mighty name, Amen. ♥ Vanessa

Noble Woman

Dear LORD,
Please make me a noble woman, who reverently and wholeheartedly fears Your name. Help me LORD to do Your will and not my own. May I seek Your face continuously. Build me up so that I may walk with love, honor, integrity and nobility. May Your Grace and Love surround me.
