Tea Time with GOD: He Gives More Grace

He Giveth More Grace

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater.
He sendeth more strength when the labor's increase.
to added affliction He added His mercy,
to multiplied trials, His multiplied peace,

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
when our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
when we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
our Father's full giving has only begun.

His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men.
for out of His riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

-Poem by Annie Johnson Flint.

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace in time of need."

The LORD'S Grace is beyond measure! We can never consume it all.
O LORD, I thank YOU  that Grace, Mercy, Love, Peace and Strength is found in YOU. Please help us to be strengthen in Grace and Love. Surround us, Heavenly Father with Your Infinite Love, till our hearts overflow. ♥

  1. Greetings from Wordwise Hymns. And thanks for including the lovely hymn poem. It's not, however, by someone named J. E. Myhill, whoever he/she may be. The poem, which later became a hymn, was written by Annie Johnson Flint.

Born out of a life of painful suffering, it reminds us of what the grace of God can do. I published an article on Miss Flint's hymn today. I encourage you to check out my site to find out more about her. God bless.

    1. Brother Robert, thanks so much for the info. I am just now seeing your message. The hymn was in a book I was reading and I thought it was so beautiful, at the end of the Hymn was the name "J.E.Myhill," I did not look it up to see if it was correct, it was in a published book. Perhaps, it was someone who re-sang the song. I will change it to the original. :) Thank you.

I will definitely take a look at your site. I love hymns, they hit the core of my heart. And I am reminded I am not alone in this journey. God Bless You Tons...
