Beautifully Made

But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
{1 Samuel 16:7}
As women we are constantly bombarded by the media, magazines, movie stars and by the culture who says it’s all about self and how the outward appearance looks. What the world portrays as beauty is, indeed, not true beauty at all. We live in a culture that glorifies self and cares only about the outward appearance, paying little to no attention at all to the inner beauty of goodness, kindness, gentleness and self -control. Proverbs 11:22 tells us, “Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion. Foolishness, a bad attitude and selfishness is very unattractive, just like a pig with a gold ring in its snout.

You are beautiful and created by our awesome Creator! He takes great delight in you, the apple of His eye! He fashioned and formed you in His likeness. I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. {Psalm 139:14}

The LORD is our Strength. He is the one that causes inner beauty to shine forth and gleam bright, just like stars in a sky!

A Godly woman is gorgeous, set apart especially for her LORD! Her light shines and beams. She’s filled with Grace and Love. She’s filled with Blessings from up above. She sings of heaven’s love. She’s crowned with the LORD’S beauty; a beauty that cannot be purchased, nor tarnished. A beauty that is unfading. She’s delightful, elegant and passionate about the things of GOD. She knows her confidence is in Christ her LORD. She was redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb. She was bought at a cost and therefore, she glorifies GOD in her body. She is worth far more than rubies, diamonds, or costly pearls. Her arms are strong for her tasks. Anything she wants from her Heavenly Father she asks, for she comes boldly to the throne of grace. She speaks with wisdom. She’s clothed with strength and dignity. She can laugh at the days to come. She delights herself in the LORD because He places all the desires of her heart. She cultivates a heart of contentment and gratitude for she knows the things of this world will fade away. She’s not focused on the here and now, she plans for Eternity. She does not let the things of this world influence her. She knows this is not her home for she is not of the world. Her focus is Christ. Her vision is heaven. She knows that serving Christ has great value. She considers it better than all the riches of this world for she looks ahead, to GOD’s reward.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
{Proverbs 31:30}

He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for His own glory. {Isaiah 61:3NLT}

Walk with your head held high with compassion, love and mercy because you serve the King of kings. The LORD tells us; great will be thy reward!

Tea Time with God: Take Time To Be Holy

Take Time To Be Holy

Take time to be holy,
Speak often with your Lord;
Abide in Him always,
And feed on His Word.
Make friends of God's children,
Help those who are weak,
Forgetting in nothing
His blessings to seek.

Take time to be holy,
The world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret,
With Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus,
Like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct
His likeness shall see.

Take time to be holy,
Let Him be thy guide;
And run not before Him,
Whatever betide,
In joy or in sorrow,
Still follow the Lord,
And, looking to Jesus,
Still trust in His Word.

Take time to be holy,
Be calm in thy soul,
Each thought and each motive
Beneath His contrrol.
Thus led by His Spirit
To fountians of love,
Thou soon shall be fitted
For service above.

The Joys of Motherhood

 I just wanted to share a fun way to practice with children "writing skills." My son is in Kindergarten and to make it fun and interesting to him (it gets him eager to read.) I grab a note pad and we write notes to each-other.

I encourage my son in the notes; I will write simple things that are easy for him to read and sound out. Here is an example;" I thank God for you! You are a blessing in my life."  " Have a great day at school, God bless you." "God loves you so much and so do I."

I pray you will have fun with the little ones that are in your life. Sharing GOD'S love and encouraging one another is so important. It is a joy to serve the LORD. I am reminded to count my blessings.

 If you train your children, they will give you peace.
    They will bring delight to you.

When Forgiveness is Hard

 Have you ever forgave someone just to have them hurt you over and over again? Well, the bible tells us in Matthew 18:21-23 that Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

 In no way shape or form am I perfect, In fact I stumble many times. I get angry when I shouldn't, I sometimes shout to get my point across when I wish I could just calmly say what needs to be said, without getting so emotional. I make mistakes, I fall short of the glory and it hurts me when I fail the LORD. I grieve, because I have sinned against GOD. And HE is so compassionate with me, HE gives me (undeserving grace) and when I'm hurt and torn apart, HE is always there with arms wide open and ears to hear my every cry. Well, when I can recognize my desperate need for my Savior. He, softens this harden heart of mine and fills it with His mercy and compassionate love, He then enables me to extend forgiveness. It is my brokenness that draws me to my knees, It's recognizing that I have a great need, I need GOD, I'm lost without HIM. The LORD reminds me in Matthew 7:12 … “treat people the same way you want them to treat you.”

Christ is my example, HE forgave me! And how great was my sin. It is only through the LORD that I can forgive by faith, over and over again. It's being honest before the LORD. And yes, with man this is impossible but with GOD all things are possible. {Matthew 19:26}

Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
{Colossians 3:12-13}

LORD Father GOD,
Please O Lord, help me to forgive and to forgive quickly just as you have forgiven me. Please do not let my heart become harden. I need You, LORD. Help me to love the way you love (unconditionally) and (wholeheartedly). I call upon YOUR name O LORD and I ask for Your forgiveness of all my sins. I know I am undeserving of YOUR Grace. Please Father GOD, Your will be done and not my own. Fill this broken, empty heart with YOUR LOVE, Grace, Mercy, Merciful Kindness and Forgiveness. Let me extend YOUR Mercy to others. For my heart delights to please YOU. I LOVE YOU, LORD.

Encouragement for the Military Wife

"Be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord' s work for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless."
{1 Corinthians 15:58}

       As military wives, a lot of what we do is behind the scenes. While, there may be no banquets, awards, or medals we receive from the outside world. But, God sees and cares about the smallest details of our lives. Nothing is missed by Him. Our Labors, dedication, loyalty, sacrifices, taking care of the home front , running errands, ER visits, doctor and dental appointments just to name a few. I mean really the list goes on. I am reminded, we are never alone. God is with us. It is, in His strength, that we can do our work STRONG and STEADY. With GOD in our lives we can go through anything. Nothing we do, whether big or small is useless. We are building for eternity.

Keep Strong and Steady, sweet sisters!

She dresses herself with strength
and makes her arms strong. {Proverbs 31:17 ESV}

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. {Galatians 6:9 NLT}

Tea Time with GOD: He Gives More Grace

He Giveth More Grace

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater.
He sendeth more strength when the labor's increase.
to added affliction He added His mercy,
to multiplied trials, His multiplied peace,

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
when our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
when we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
our Father's full giving has only begun.

His love has no limits, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men.
for out of His riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

-Poem by Annie Johnson Flint.

"Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace in time of need."

The LORD'S Grace is beyond measure! We can never consume it all.
O LORD, I thank YOU  that Grace, Mercy, Love, Peace and Strength is found in YOU. Please help us to be strengthen in Grace and Love. Surround us, Heavenly Father with Your Infinite Love, till our hearts overflow. ♥

A Glimpse into Paradise

In Heaven...

There will be only two kinds of tears—
tears of laughter and tears of joy. We will never be
or depressed.
                                                                        —Snapshots of Heaven

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
Dear Heavenly Father,
I can't wait to spend eternity with You. Help me to stay focused, while I'm here on this earth. Help me to keep my eyes on You (my treasure) my joy, my peace within. Please LORD, give me the strength to do Your will. Grant us strength and might for this journey. I want to live with no more regrets — I want to be wise on how I use my time here on this earth as You prepare all Your children for eternity! O Glorious, Heavenly Father, I love you and thank You for all that You are.

Through Christ we Can Succeed

Joseph was thrown into jail for an act he did not commit!
"But the LORD was with Joseph in the prison and showed him His faithful Love." The LORD was with him and caused everything he did to succeed.
{Genesis 38:21,23b NLT}

I love to read about Joseph (his brothers sold him into slavery) to an Egyptian officer named Potiphar. Potiphar's wife told lies about Joseph. This married woman wanted a man who was not her husband. I love how Joseph, a Man of Honor and Integrity, he fled from trouble, He trusted God- in all his circumstances. No matter what his situations looked like, he knew God was with him. Through out the chapter we are told of the LORD'S Faithful Love! The LORD was with Joseph and Joseph succeeded in everything he did.

This reminds me through my trying times, when I wish I had all the answers to my life. That no matter what  I go through, the countless mistakes.... Oh, when I put my trust in Jesus, HE guides the way. HE is with me through it all!  My Rock, my Savior', my Redeemer!
Yes, we CAN Succeed! ❤

O, LORD I trust You , lead me the way, to life everlasting.

Greater Joy Awaits

"If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That's to prevent anyone from confusing God's incomparable power with us. As it is, there's not much chance of that. You know for yourselves that we're not much to look at. We've been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we're not demoralized; we're not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we've been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn't left our side; we've been thrown down, but we haven't broken. What they did to Jesus, they do to us—trial and torture, mockery and murder; what Jesus did among them, he does in us—he lives! Our lives are at constant risk for Jesus' sake, which makes Jesus' life all the more evident in us. While we're going through the worst, you're getting in on the best!"
{ 2 Corinthians 4:7 MSG}

I love this scripture! While this journey may not be a walk in the park and often, at times, this journey seems like; a lonely road. But Greater Joy awaits!! Let us endure till the end. We can trust God. For HE supply's all our needs. Be encouraged our GOD is Faithful! ♥

The Samaritan Woman

Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in Him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” So when the Samaritans came to Him, they urged Him to stay with them, and He stayed two days. And because of His Words many more became believers.

 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.”
{John 4:39-40}

       The Samaritan Woman:
  •  She Shared her testimony
  • She was not silent about what the LORD told her
  • She listened intently to what the LORD was saying
  • She wanted this Living Water that the LORD was talking about.

It is Jesus who fills our every thirst, He is a spring of Life, HE is the Living Water. HE is the Savior of the world. HE is TRUTH to a dying and hurting world. We as women can impact the world in which we live. Just as the Samaritan Woman impacted the folks in her town. She shared her testimony and simply told them what the LORD has done.

How can I keep silent about the GOD I serve, how could I not want to talk about HIS Greatness and what HE'S done for me! HE saved my life, the Savior of the world changed my life. For me to read His Word, is life to my soul, light unto my path. YES I Believe! but I no longer believe because of what someone told me, I believe because I know for myself. I believe, because of His Transforming Power, HIS Unfailing LOVE, HIS Gentleness, HIS Loving Kindness, HIS Merciful Grace, HIS Everlasting LOVE, HIS Faithfulness, HIS LOVE is indescribable to great for me to explain. The LORD has answered numerous prayers, in the most smallest details of my life {big and small}. Who are we, that HE is mindful of us.

Jesus answered, “everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life. {John 4:13-14}

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
{Psalm 31:8}

Tea Time with GOD: Time Alone

                                                                           Source: via Vanessa on Pinterest

Jesus reminds us of the importance and the key to spiritual growth is spending time alone with GOD.
“With the crowd dispersed, HE climbed the mountain so he could be by himself and pray. HE stayed there alone, late into the night."

Prayer is a vital part of my life, it is being connected to the source of life: Our Glorious Heavenly Father.

Some of my sweetest moments have been in prayer, talking to GOD about every aspect of life, sharing my feelings, my discouragements, my joys, and most importantly sharing how thankful I am for who HE is. GOD has become apart of my everyday life. It is very “Normal", I give HIM, all of my life, the rest of my days that I shall live. Our GOD, our LORD and Savior is not far off, HIS love is tangible, HIS Love is real, HIS Love is extravagant.

HIS LOVE is breathtaking, I simply cannot get enough of JESUS! HE fills every empty space, every broken piece in my heart, HE mends it. I pray whenever I can, in the car, in the bathroom, in my heart, HE is always available! The LORD has never let me down. Not every prayer of mine has been answered, O but how HE gives me strength to carry on through trying times. When I want to give up, HE fills me with brand new strength and new hope.

JESUS, never neglected to pray and spend time with the FATHER.
" [Jesus] climbed a mountain to pray. HE was there all night in prayer before GOD." {Luke 6:12}

It is important for us to make time, to listen to our Heavenly Father through His Word, the bible. HIS Words give us strength, hope, encouragement, joy, comfort, peace, GOD-confidence, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and so much more. HE reveals Himself through His Word and through prayer, through a heart that cries out to Him, for HIS word says; "*Anyone* who trust in Him will never be put to shame.” {Romans 10:11}

Let us call upon the Name of the LORD, Let us, Trust HIM. Let us, turn to HIM, let us cry out to be filled with His Love, to be filled with the Holy Spirit,  But most importantly Let us make time for HIM, HE is so worthy of all our time, strength and energy. HE is worthy of all our praise.

Glorious Heavenly Father,
 fill us with Your spirit, help us LORD to make time for You, preoccupy us with your goodness and love. Give us hearts that long for YOU! For nothing in this world could satisfy us. You satisfy us with Your Unfailing, Merciful LOVE. You turn our darkness into light. YOU fill us, with Brand New Joy. Please LORD, Give us hearts that hunger and thirst for YOU and YOUR WORD. Give us hearts, O LORD, that love YOU more and more, each day.

Goodness and Love

A heart of peace

A heart at peace, gives life to the body ... {Proverbs 14:30}NIV

I know often, I must tell myself; "Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you." {Psalm 116:7 NIV} Life has many challenges, we sometimes have to face many storms, perhaps trial, after trial, pain after pain, heartache after heartache but all these aches and pains keep me running to my Savior and they keep me humble. They help me realize How much I need our Heavenly Father. There is no way I could with stand any of this with out HIM. O, when I run to the throne of grace, when I lay my burdens at HIS feet, when I run to my quiet place {literally any room} to find solitude, so that I can be be still and quiet before the LORD, really, I don't have to say anything at all. At times, all I can do is be still before the LORD and just lay my broken heart at HIS feet. O, the Peace the LORD gives when I lay my burdens down and TRUST HIM! Whew! I tell ya, it seems trial after trial some days, and I realize I have LOTS to learn and all I can say is LORD, mold me, shape me, transform me into the woman YOU want me to be! HE truly gives peace which surpasses all understanding.

Besides, if my life was a bliss {smooth sailing} all day every day, I would probably have nothing to write about and I would be a very selfish person. O, GOD is good! I choose to turn my eyes and focus off my storms and turn my eyes and focus on my LORD! ♥

Dear LORD,
Help us to stop and consider YOUR wondrous Wonders! Even in the midst of storms, let us find Joy, Peace and Contentment in YOU. Please give us a heart of Peace. Thank YOU precious Heavenly Father, that, when we cry out to You, when we humble ourselves, or just be still before YOU, O' Thank YOU LORD, for the peace YOU give! Please LORD, continuously fill our hearts with YOUR abundant Peace and Love! LORD, we Glorify YOU.

Stop and consider God's wonders. {Job 37:14} NIV

Tea Time with GOD: I call to YOU

{Psalm 4:1-4}
     Answer me when I call to you,
O my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame?
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods?
Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself;
the Lord will hear when I call to him.
In your anger do not sin;
when you are on your beds,
search your hearts and be silent.

LORD GOD ALMIGHTY , has given us countless  promises. Though one, even the world may despise us. Make false accusations. GOD’S WORD tells us: HE has set apart the godly for HIMSELF and HE will answer them, when they call.

No matter the situation, no matter the trials, storms, disappointments, or aches in our hearts. GOD sees and hears our cries for mercy and help. We are not forgotten, HE is just. We don’t have to give up and feel hopeless. HE is faithful and HE will rescue His people. The LORD also tells us; “Don’t sin by letting anger control you.” At times it may be hard to do, and all we have to do is just be honest with GOD. HE is compassionate and understanding. HE will help us.

 Let us put our Trust in HIM. HE promises to supply all our needs. Over and over again, HE promises to never leave us nor forsake us. Let us meditate upon HIS WORDS and treasure them in our hearts.

LORD FATHER GOD, we run to YOU and call upon YOUR Holy Name. Please give us shelter and comfort in the shadow of YOUR Wings, Comfort me with YOUR compassionate loving words. YOU are Holy and All Powerful. Grant your servants request for Help. Let your face smile on us, LORD.
  You have given me greater joy.

Tea Time with GOD: A Reverent Self-Controlled Woman

{A Reverent Self-Controlled Woman}

Make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self‑control; and to self‑control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Truly, GOD will equip us with all we need. HE will help us to be the women HE has called us to be. All HE asks; is that we acknowledge we Need HIM. GOD'S WORD says; HE gives Grace to the Humble but resists the proud. I Take great delight in HIS WORDS, because they are True and our Heavenly Father does not lie. HIS WORDS, are a lamp for our feet, a LIGHT for our path.

The question that echoes in my heart is; "What Kind of Woman do I Want To Be?"

  Am I a woman who is self-controlled? Or do I give in, lose my temper, morals, dignity and lose self-control?

How can I increase in these qualities?

Let us, keep increasing in these wonderful qualities;  by adorning ourselves with:

  • VIRTUE; Honor: Integrity; Excellence; Nobility
  • KNOWLEDGE; knowing GOD’S Truth, reading and understanding His Word. Growing in Christ
  • SELF-CONTROL; strength of character, dignity, balanced.
  • PERSEVERANCE; steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. Continuance in a state of GRACE to the END, leading to ETERNAL SALVATION.
  • GODLINESS; holiness, worshipful, prayerful, reverent, faithful, devout
  • BROTHERLY KINDNESS; friendly, selfless, understanding, affectionate, devoted
  • LOVE; adoration, devotion
Speak it, Say it, Live it…

we come boldly to YOUR throne of GRACE, knowing fully we cannot accomplish these qualities without YOU. Please LORD, we desire with all our heart, to live our lives for YOU, for YOUR glory. Please LORD, with total surrender… Give us the Strength, courage, wisdom, knowledge and understanding to walk this JOURNEY of LOVE with YOU. Pour YOUR Grace, Mercy and Holy Spirit upon us that we may walk in YOUR ways and live accordingly to YOUR good and perfect will. Take away all the wickedness, everything in us that is not of YOU and replace it with YOUR Goodness, Knowledge, Self-Control, Perseverance, Godliness, Brotherly Kindness, and LOVE. Let us wear YOUR LOVE, O LORD. Make us the Woman, YOU want us to be. For GLORY and HONOR belongs to YOU O LORD> Fill our hearts with an out Pour of YOUR LOVE, Your Holy Spirit. May we Persevere till the very end, as long as we live. O FATHER GOD, how I Adore YOU, how I LOVE YOU, with all of my heart, mind and strength.

 "And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for."

Tea Time with GOD: Wise Words

The wise don’t engage in empty chatter, what good are such words?
{Job 15:3}

Wise words bring many benefits, and hard work brings rewards.
{Proverbs 12:14}

The words we choose are powerful. They can destroy and hurt or they can bring healing, joy, strength, encouragement, comfort, peace, and so much more. The LORD is always there to lend a helping hand, I know I do not want to be a foolish woman, who thinks she can do this all on her own. I want to be wise in the choices I make. I want to speak gracefully, kindly, and wisely. I want the words I choose to Glorify and honor the LORD.

{Proverbs 16:21} says: The wise are know for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive. We can impact the world, just by our speech. We should constantly be aware of the things that come out of our mouths and ask ourselves; “Does what I have to say impart Grace, bring healing, will it be persuasive to our hearers"? What, will they gain, by listening to our words? Will they gain hurt? Heartache? Belittlement? Will we discourage them?  Will they lose hope? Or will our words bring healing? Bring peace and encouragement to their precious hearts? Will we choose to comfort them with graceful words, will we extend grace and mercy?

Reverent Women, Let us use our words wisely.

O Precious LORD,
Please help us in this area of our lives, may the tone of our voices be gentle, kind and respectful. May the words that come out of our mouths be wise and encouraging. May our words, echo kindness in our hearers heart’s. Teach us how to be gentle, forgiving, compassionate Women, who choose words that bring healing, peace, encouragement, hope, joy, goodness, kindness, grace, and YOUR LOVE to our hearers . Cleanse us, and purify our hearts O LORD. May we know and understand the value of wise words. Please LORD, make us reverent women who wholly and reverently fear YOUR NAME. We Worship YOU! For there is NO other.
In Jesus Name. Amen.

Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. {Proverbs 18:20}

From a wise mind, come wise speech; the words of the wise are PERSUASIVE. {Proverbs 16:23}

A fool’s proud talk becomes a rod that beats him, but the words of the wise keep them safe. {Proverbs 14:3}

What can I do so I don't lose my temper with my children?

          I must step back and take a look at myself, my actions and my attitude. If I want to be effective with my Children, I must target at their hearts. It's all to easy for me, to scream and shout. That is very simple to do. I must be firm, loving and sincere with the way I choose to instruct my children. Rather than screaming, with a demeaning voice. I Praise their efforts, I tell them how wonderful of a job they do when I need them to get things done.

Encouragement is effective and especially boys they thrive off encouragement and praise. I tell my children how much I appreciate their help. They cleaned their room, my reply; "Wow what an amazing job you did! You room is shining. Thank you so much for your help. I am so thankful."

My children are 3, 4 and 6. I thank God for He shows me how to raise them. What also helps is for me to think about, how did I feel as a child, when I was so often yelled at? When all I wanted, was love and just a hug.

It reminds me to stay calm, say a prayer and ask for the LORD'S help.

Another thing I do with my children when they are not listening. I ask them; "so if you get married someday and have children, how will you feel when they don't listen to you? How will you discipline them? My 4 year olds response; " I would pray for them." Wow, now tell me that isn't Amazing! I was amazed to hear my son's response. Great answer!

What works? Encouragement, dedication, love, prayer and GOD'S Glorious ways.

Who, on this earth, is perfect?

Note to self: Lighten up and love those children. :)

Tea Time with GOD: The Tea Cup Story

       A couple vacationing in Europe went strolling down a little street and saw a quaint little gift shop with a beautiful teacup in the window. The lady collected teacups and she wanted this one for her collection, so she went inside to buy the teacup, and as the story goes the teacup spoke and said:

"I want you to know that I have not always looked like this. It took the process of pain to bring me to this point. You see, there was a time when I was just clay and the Master came and He pounded me and He squeezed me and He kneaded me and I screamed: "STOP THAT!". But He just smiled and said, "Not yet".

Then He took me and put me on the shelf and I went round and round and round and round... and while I was spinning and getting dizzier and dizzier I screamed again and I said, "Please get me off this thing... please get me off!" And the Master was looking at me and he was smiling, as He said, "Not yet".

Then He took me and walked toward the oven and shut the door and turned up the heat and I could see Him through the window of the oven and it was getting hotter and hotter and I thought, "He's going to burn me to death!".

And I started pounding on the inside of the oven and I said, "Master, let me out, let me out, let me out!", and I could see that He was smiling as He said "Not yet". Then He opened the door and I was fresh and free and He took me out of the oven and He put me on the table and then He got some paint and a paintbrush.

He started dabbing me and making swirls all over me and I started to gag and I said: "Master, stop it... stop it... stop it please... you're making me gag". He just smiled as He said "not yet".

Then very gently He picked me up again and He started walking toward the oven and I said, "Master, NO!! Not again, pleeeease!!". He opened the oven door and He slipped me inside and He shut the door and this time He turned the heat up twice as hot as before and I thought, "He's going to kill me!!", and I looked through the window of the oven and I started to pound on it, saying, "Master... Master, please let me out... please let me out... let me out!".

I could see that He was smiling but I also noticed a tear trickle down His cheek as I watched Him mouth the words, "Not yet!"

Just as I thought I was about to die, the door opened and He reached in ever so gently and took me out, fresh and free and He went and placed me on a high shelf and He said: "There, I have created what I intended. Would you like to see yourself?" I said, "Yes". He handed me a mirror and I looked and I looked again and I said, "That's not me, I'm just a lump of clay".

He said, "Yes, that IS you, but it took the process of pain to bring you to this place. You see, had I not worked you when you were clay, then you would have dried up.

If I had not subjected you to the stress of the wheel you would have crumbled. If I had not put you into the heat of the oven you would have cracked. If I had not painted you there would be no color in your life. But, it was the second oven that gave you the strength to endure. Now you are everything I intended you to be - from the beginning." And I, the teacup, heard myself saying something I never thought I would hear myself saying, "Master, forgive me, I did not trust you. I thought you were going to harm me, I did not know you had a glorious future and a hope for me. I was too shortsighted, but I want to thank you.

I want to thank you for the suffering. I want to thank you for the process of pain. Here I am! I give you myself - fill me; pour from me, use me as you see fit. I really want to be a vessel that brings you glory within my life."

Don’t believe the hype by Tamara Patrick

It’s so easy to get caught up in worldly things. It is so easy to drift away from God, our one and only source of life and all that is. It is so easy to believe that you are a body who has a soul, when in fact it’s the other way around; you are a soul with a body.

Don’t believe the hype. You are not your clothes, your hair or your shoes. Beauty has nothing to do with outer appearance. ‘Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.’ - 1 Peter 3:3-4

You are not what other people say or think about you. Not one bad word (or compliment!) made by other people can ever define who you really are. God is who you are! God is our only and true source of life and all that is! God lives in us and we in Him. You are more than what you wear, more than the money you own, the car you drive and the people you hang with. If you know this, and you still feel the need to chase after worldly things… remember that you are only chasing them to fill an empty heart. Searching for love in worldly things and other people will never (NEVER!) satisfy you. Only God is love, and only God can give you this perfect love you’re searching for.

Thanks for sharing Tamara! Excellent Post!

Tea Time with GOD: A Gift of Contentment

                                                                          Source: via Vanessa on Pinterest

LORD, you will give perfect peace to anyone who commits himself to be faithful to you That's because he trust in you.

Peace and Contentment go hand in hand. GOD promises: Anyone who commits himself to be Faithful to HIM and Trust HIM. HE will keep in Perfect Peace.

GOD'S Promises are Faithful and TRUE. The LORD tells us, not only to hear the Word but to be Doer's of the Word. I'm committing myself to be faithful to HIM asking for HIS guidance, strength and help. I TRUST HIM no matter my circumstances, no matter my trials, no matter the opposition! My flesh is weak but the spirit is willing. I will discipline my self as an athlete disciplines with intense training. I will seek the LORD, in all that I do. Because HE, promises to supply all our needs.

Dear Gracious LORD,
I thank you in advance for what YOU'VE already done. YOU are our gift of CONTENTMENT. Please Pour YOUR HOLY Spirit upon us. Please keep our minds fixed upon YOU. Please give us the strength we need, the peace within to do YOUR good and perfect will.

The LORD is my strength and my song. {Exodus 15:2}

The cheerful heart has a continual feast. *A happy heart is good medicine, and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones. * The Lord ... Said, "Be of good cheer." * The joy of the Lord is your strength.
{Proverbs 15:15 NIV, Proverbs 17:22, Acts 23:11 KJV, Nehemiah 8:10}

The LORD said; "Be of good cheer."

We have many reasons to rejoice and be cheerful. All HE's done on calvary, for You, for me, for everyone!
HE'S wiped our sins away. HE Loved us while we were yet sinners! {Romans 5:8}
Dead in our sin, blinded by darkness, yet HE paid the debt in full. HE hung on a tree where I deserved to be.  HE loved me still, while I was out chasing my thrills.
HE took our penalties, HE bore our sins, HE set us free!
Now let me be who HE'S called me to BE, I give my life to THEE!
I've wasted enough of my life living in darkness, living for self, living life's pleasures, but it was never enough.
When HE called me I did nothing to deserve HIS Grace. I was sitting in darkness, in complete disgrace.
    HIS LOVE reached my heart that was all torn apart,
HE took my brokeness, all my emptiness,
All my broken pieces.
HE took my ashes and Replaced it with a CROWN of Joy, Strength and Dignity. HE never ceases to amaze me. HE gives those who ask, Integrity.
HE gave me eyes to see, ears to hear, a heart that exclaims! "O how I Love THEE!"
HE gave me LIFE!
HE took my strife.
 HE is Mighty to SAVE,  HE Restores, HE Heals the broken hearted,  A Strong TOWER, A Refuge, A Shelter from the Storm.
HE is the KING of Kings, the LORD of lords, The PRINCE of PEACE.
HE is GLORIOUS, so Marvelous! Incredible! Astonishing!
HE makes this heart sing!

We have many reasons to BE OF GOOD CHEER! HE will never leave us nor forsake us, HE PROMISES, to give us a HOPE and a FUTURE! Victory is OURS! IF GOD is for us, Who can be against us? The JOY of the LORD is our strength! I am cheerful in HIM! Therefore, I will gladly boast in my weaknesses and Boast in my GOD. I am weak but HE is STRONG! HE is my JOY, my SONG, my PEACE within! The Air I Breath, My Daily Bread!

Tea Time with GOD: I know something Good

                                                                             Source: via Reverent on Pinterest

I Know Something Good About You

Wouldn't this world be better, if folks whom we meet would say
"I know something good about you,"
And treat you just that way?
Wouldn't it be splendid,
If each hand shake good and true, Carried with it this assurance;
"I know something good about you?"
Wouldn't life be happier,
If the good that's in us all,
Were the only thing about us
That people would recall?
Wouldn't our days be sweeter,
If we praised the good we see;
For there is a lot of goodness,
In the worst of you and me?
Wouldn't it be fine to practice,
This way of thinking too;
You know something good about me,
I know something good about you?

{Author Unknown}

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

To focus on the good, is to be keenly aware of the blessings God has so generously bestowed upon us. To focus on HIM and His attributes; He is Goodness, Kindness, Gracious, Merciful, Forgiving, Loving and TRUE.
I will look to the good and give praise for all the positive things that does go on. I will stop and take the time to appreciate ones kindness. I will overlook an offense because the LORD has overlooked thousands of mine. I will be, who GOD has called me to be through the Power of HIS Might because I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Let us be women, who shine for HIS GLORY. Being kind and true, tenderhearted, forgiving one another.
