Cultivating Contentment

She looks well to how things go in her household, and the bread of idleness (gossip, discontent, and self-pity) she will not eat.
{Proverbs 31:27} AMP

Learning to cultivate contentment in the midst of storms, trials, opposition, setbacks and Learning to be content with where I'm at. Trusting GOD with all my heart because HE is faithful.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God". {Romans 8:28}
♦ I refuse to focus on my circumstances
♦ I refuse to magnify Issues that cause stress in my life
♦ I refuse to indulge in self-pity
♦ I refuse to be discontent
♦ I refuse to believe lies (circulating in my head)

 for the LORD says; "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
{2 Corinthians 2:9}

♦ I will focus on all the GOOD, what GOD is doing in my life and the life of others.
 ♦ I will rest my anxious thoughts and heart and leave it all in GOD'S hands.
♦ I will Lift up my voice (keep in prayer). I will keep my eyes, my thoughts, focused on CHRIST and HIS    love for me.
♦ I will Rejoice and Praise the LORD for who HE is. HE judges fairly and my case is in HIS hands. I will be persistent with my prayers and pleads.
♦ I will believe every word in the BIBLE. There, I will gather my information and rest in my DADDY'S Arms, my Father GOD.

LORD FATHER GOD,
for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Help me to rest in YOUR Presence, in YOUR Word and know with all my heart YOU are here with me guiding the way. For YOU Promised LORD to never leave me nor forsake me. May I be a content woman in YOU. Who is content in YOUR LOVE and finds shelter and comfort in the Shadow of YOUR wings. May I, *not* give into self-pity O LORD but STAND Firm, Secure and STRONG in YOU. YOU are my Strength, my Hope of Glory. My full JOY and Contentment is found in YOU.

Tea Time with GOD: Women Who Followed Jesus

Soon afterward Jesus began a tour of the nearby towns and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him, along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons; Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s business manager; Susanna; and many others who were contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples.
{Luke 8:1-3}

The Women who followed Jesus, were healed, saved, and restored! What wise women they are to follow, KING JESUS. They trusted His guidance and followed in His footsteps. These remarkable women, worked hard and contributed their resources for the Glory of God. They were "Kingdom Business Minded". May we be women who contribute, who lend helping hands, who encourage and inspire. May we be women who joyfully serve in love. May we cultivate a servants heart. May we work with all our might as working for the LORD.

Dear Precious Heavenly Father,
we thank you for all that YOU are. Glorious! And so worthy of all our praise. Please Heavenly Father give us a servants heart so that we may serve others in Love. Helping one another, being honest and fair in all of our work and doings. May we contribute to advancing the kingdom of God and using the gifts/talent, YOU have given us for YOUR GLORY. May we be Wise Women who follow in your footsteps.

My Hope is Achored in HIM

"So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary."

Song of Solomon: Poems of Love

His words of Love...

“ How beautiful is your love... my bride! How much better is your love than wine, And the fragrance of your oils Than all kinds of spices!
{Song of Solomon 4:10}

“Your lips, my bride, drip honey; Honey and milk are under your tongue, And the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.
{Song of Solomon 4:11}

His Love for his Bride is passionate and extravagant. Her lips drip honey, honey and milk are under her tongue. These words I ponder and I can't help but to think, do my words drip honey and milk? Are my words a sweet fragrance to my Heavenly Father and to my Dear Husbands ears? Would he exclaim "my LOVE is better than wine!"

O Glorious Heavenly Father, how I desire to do YOUR will. Please, may my lips, my words, drip honey and milk. May my words be a sweet fragrance to YOU! May my Words Encourage, Inspire, Uplift, Bring Healing, Bring Peace. May my words Glorify and Honor YOU. Teach me to use each word wisely, Carefully Chosen. May we as women be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. Help us to respect our husbands unconditionally and teach the unmarried to respect the men in their lives, prepare them for their future husband to be. Help us to Love Lavishly for YOU Love us Massively. Turn our husband's hearts towards YOU and then towards us. May they LOVE us as Christ loves the church. May my Love be Beautiful. May my husband shout for Joy, how beautiful my Love is! Please LORD, Restore Marriages O LORD, Please Bring healing to our marriages and our lands. For everything belongs to YOU O LORD. I thank Thee O LORD with all of my heart. Gracious YOU are... Indescribable... WORTHY is The LAMB.

Seeds of Faith

And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God’s word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest.
{Luke 8:15}

As I meditate on this verse, and let these words penetrate my heart. The LORD'S Words
Become alive and active, guiding every step. The seeds represent: GOD'S WORD. The soil represents: us, our hearts, minds and actions.

Let us take heed to the Word of God. With our Faith, solely Rooted and Grounded in Him. We can believe everything HE says, HE is Faithful. For we walk by Faith and not by sight.

Words to Ponder:
Honest
Good-hearted
Hear God's Word
Cling to it
Patiently produce a huge harvest

Heavenly Father, thank you for Your Grace, Mercy and understanding. Please grant us seeds of faith. May we plant seeds of faith, kindness, and honesty. Please cleanse our hearts, purify us oh LORD. Give us hearts that love you more and more everyday. I pray for endurance and patiences in all of our lives. Please Open our ears so we may hear your Words and cling to YOU and YOUR Powerful Words.
In Jesus Holy Mighty Name.

Tea Time with GOD: Acts of Kindness

... My cup overflows {Psalm 23:5}

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted." {Ephesians 4:32}
A kind word, a kind attitude, a kind deed, they all speak volumes. Kindness brings joy to the heart, a smile to ones face. Showing kindness is simply, being kind in speech, gentle in tone, graceful, a bright smile. An act of kindness: Serving others in love, treating your family and serving them with Royalty. After-all, our Heavenly Father is the KING of Kings. Preparing a warm candlelight dinner for the ones you love, shows an act of Love and Kindness. It truly, is the little things in life that make Grand Impressions.  When we show kindness, we truly are showing our Father' Love and HIS Gracious Kindness. For HIS Loving Kindness, Fails us not.

Kind words are like honey— sweet to the soul and healthy for the body.
{Proverbs 16:24}

The fruit of the spirit is... kindness... {Galatians 5:22-23}

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control... {Galatians 5:22-23}

 If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that.
{Matthew 5:47}

Love is patient and kind...
{1 Corinthians 13:4}

May the loving kindness of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ bless you and give you peace. Philippians 1:2 Worldwide English (New Testament) (WE)

Happy Thanksgiving

 "I give you thanks, O Lord, with all my heart"...
{Psalm 138:1}

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name."
{Psalm 100:4}
“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
{1 Thessalonians 5:18}

 “TRUTH is timeless. We, as mothers, have lost the focus of teaching our daughters what it means to be women. We have been brought up to believe that one way or another it will just happen. Lead a good life and your daughter will learn by osmosis. Sadly, this does not happen in most instances. I believe now is the time to harken back to the day when VALUES were taught with intent, a time when mothers mentored daughters, an era when timeless truths were passed from generation to generation. Young women were purposely taught what it meant to be women in the world in which they lived.”

In the Hands of GOD

For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.

 He never sinned,
      nor ever deceived anyone.
  He did not retaliate when he was insulted,
      nor threaten revenge when he suffered.
   He left his case in the hands of God,
      who always judges fairly.
  He personally carried our sins
      in his body on the cross
   so that we can be dead to sin
      and live for what is right.
   By his wounds
      you are healed.

Extremely Grateful, for GOD'S Grace and Mercy. What wonderful news, GOD has given us; "To leave our case in GOD'S hands" because He, "Judges fairly" and that's a promise. We do not need to seek revenge nor do we need to speak careless words of insult. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus and draw from HIS living water; asking for HIS help in all areas of our lives. He is our Defender.

I can admit that it's not always easy for me to endure pain and suffering patiently. I immediately, want to take matters into my own hands or I foolishly say things only to have regret and heartache, for careless words spoken. GOD is Just in all HE does. HIS ways are perfect. To Trust HIM is to patiently endure and I must TRUST that no matter what my eyes may see and no matter what my ears may hear. The LORD is there in the mist of every trial and suffering. HE is in control no matter what. HE is Sovereign. The question is will I truly believe HE will do what HE says HE will do? I must TRUST and leave all my cases in the hands of GOD.

Dear Gracious Loving LORD,

Please help me to believe every word you say. Oh I believe but please LORD, help me with my disbelief. Lord please forgive me for all the times I've jumped and ran ahead of You. Only to find myself more frustrated and confused. Help me to extend mercy and grace. When I am offended please LORD let me extend kindness, mercy and grace. I do not want to retaliate with insult for insult. Help me to follow in YOUR steps. Give me strength to stand strong for what is right. There is no need for me to ever have to seek revenge, for YOU judge fairly and I TRUST YOU LORD. Thank You for who You are. Please enable me to be the Woman YOU have called me to be.

The Respect he Needs

...And the wife Must RESPECT her husband.
{Ephesians 5:33} emphasis added

Everyday, I must choose to respect my husband unconditionally. I realize it takes much effort and I cannot implement "unconditional respect" in my own strength. I must draw from the living water. (ask the LORD in constant prayer to help me, give me a desire, give me new words, a fresh perspective, make me RESILIENT, love deeply. "unconditional respect" takes practice and effort.

Good morning my handsome king, wishing you a great day! Thanks so much for all your help! I respect your hard working hands. I Thank you for those strong muscles, you help me take out the trash. I appreciate your help! I respect the man that you are. You are bold and fearless! When I hear a noise that startles me in the night, you heroically arise without hesitation to inspect our quarters. I respect your selfless acts of commitment in serving our country, you are dedicated with courage and honor. I respect how you faithfully wake up each morning and work diligently through out the days. I Respect your integrity and commitment to our family. You commute hours to return home from work. You are a great provider, a brilliant financial advisor. I respect all your financial decisions and respect your leadership. I respect the faithful man that you are. You are the greatest boss a woman can have. Thank you for being supportive in many areas of my life. I appreciate all your efforts, all the goodwill that is in you. I respect the father you are, you are an incredible dad to our children. I respect your continuous effort to communicate effectively and listening to my hearts cry. Thank you for your listening ears. I know I make many mistakes but I thank you, that you have not given up on me. May I always captivate you by my love and therefore render unconditional respect to you all the days of my life.

I love you massively... And respect you immensely... Xoxoxo

Wishing you a wonderful day ♥♥♥

Precious Time with Your Little Princess ♥

Sweetpea Beauty -- A Girl After God's Own Heart

This is an excellent resource to spend valuable time with your little princess. To teach the virtue of inner beauty and what true beauty is. Like Goodness, Kindness, Sweetness, Hospitality, Gentleness, Quietness. These wonderful characteristics are alluringly beautiful indeed. We should train our little princesses to see themselves the way GOD sees them.

..."The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
{1 Samuel 16:7}

I just want to share some ideas on how I spent my weekend with my little girls.

♦ We had a (princess dress up) tea party with hot cocoa and brownies.
♦ Watched the movie and talked about what they learned. My girls are 3 and 5. I asked them many fun questions and heard their lovely responses.
♦ The movie has a valuable bonus feature: sweetpea's true beauty guide for girls {It's excellent}
♦ Then Colored some sweet pea beauty coloring pages.

Our time spent was priceless.

If you train your children, they will give you peace. They will bring delight to you.
{Proverbs 29:17} NIrV

The Character of A Godly Woman

Loyalty, Trustworthy, Honesty, Gentleness and Kindness are her clothing….

“Clothe yourselves with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.”        {1 Peter 3:4}

Beautifying The Under Layer

What are God’s thoughts on modesty? What does God say about people who think only of themselves and how they look?

Let’s look to HIS Word for the answers Isaiah 3:16-24 says;

The Lord says, “Beautiful Zion is haughty:
   craning her elegant neck,
      flirting with her eyes,
   walking with dainty steps,
      tinkling her ankle bracelets.
 So the Lord will send scabs on her head;
      the Lord will make beautiful Zion bald.”
On that day of judgment
      the Lord will strip away everything that makes her beautiful:
   ornaments, headbands, crescent necklaces,
     earrings, bracelets, and veils;
  scarves, ankle bracelets, sashes,
      perfumes, and charms;
  rings, jewels,
     party clothes, gowns, capes, and purses;
  mirrors, fine linen garments,
      head ornaments, and shawls.
Instead of smelling of sweet perfume, she will stink.
      She will wear a rope for a sash,
      and her elegant hair will fall out.
   She will wear rough burlap instead of rich robes.
      Shame will replace her beauty.
{Isaiah 3:16-24} NLT

Wow those are some rough verses to hear! These verses truly keep me humbled. God desires that we seek to please HIM and not seek to please man or forget WHO is Providing all things for us. It is the LORD who clothes us and provides all we need.

 Now if we can take the time to search and implement these things:  a designer outfit, expensive perfume, spending hours fixing the hair (intricate hair styles), detailed makeup and a fabulous pair of shoes. How much more time should we spend beautifying the inside of us? Searching God’s Word and implementing HIS Word in our lives. Clothing our selves with HIS Love, Kindness, Compassion, Patience, Gentleness, Grace. 1 Peter 3:4 tells us “Clothe yourselves with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.”  The Bible also tells us in Proverbs 27:20 that "the eyes of man are never satisfied." As women we can spend hours taking care of the outside appearance and spend little time taking care of the inside. True Beauty starts from within. We sure have practiced how to do our hair over and over again and spent hours painting a face over and over again. The bible tells us to train ourselves to be godly. I’m truly learning to put God’s Word into action practicing Patience, Kindness, Gentleness, Goodness, Peace, Endurance because I CAN do all things through Christ who Strengthens me.

LORD Father GOD, I thank you for YOUR Perfect TRUTH, YOUR Loving Kindness, Your Gentle patience, the Grace and Mercy that YOU so generously give. YOU are such an Awesome Holy GOD. YOU are the ONE and ONLY. Please Oh LORD cleanse me of all of my unrighteousness, teach me YOUR ways, Train me Father GOD, how to be godly, submissive, gentle and kind. Show me LORD what True Beauty is. Make me a graceful woman who follows all of YOUR ways. Please let my speech be graceful, each word wisely chosen. Help me to take the time to cultivate inner beauty, thinking of others before myself.

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
      but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
{Proverbs 31:30}

A Love so Strong

How can I deny or contain a LOVE so STRONG?

 He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge... {Psalm 144:2}

God is the very breath I breathe, His Love is Indescribable, Unfailing and Gentle. He fills this empty vessel! He fills my heart with Love and compassion. A passion that overflows from His goodness.

Every moment I want to live for His Glory. What joy the LORD brings in ones life. Everyday is surrendering to the will of God letting Him take control of my every move. Though I walk through the Fires I am not burned. Though the waves come crashing, He sustains me still. I huger and thirst for Him. He is the living water, that I may drink and never thirst again.

Everyday is a moment an opportunity to share your Faith to share the Love of Jesus. In a world so cruel yet one can say in the face of adversity "The LORD is my Strength and my Shield" He is my Hiding Place, my Shelter, my Strong Tower, my Deliver, my Protector, my Counselor, my Fortress, He is my Everything.

Heavenly Father,

I need you all the days of my life, I never want to be away from you ever again, Your Love is Beautiful, You are Holy, Awesome and Amazing. All of your ways are Just. You are Incredible, Magnificent and All Powerful, Almighty! How great thou art O LORD. I am so grateful Heavenly Father for who You Are and All that You are! You are Perfect and Just! You are the Peace which surpasses all understanding. You O LORD are my Joy! I worship you with all that I am, with all of my heart. You can have all of me! Shape me, mold me, transform me.

I thank You LORD for all that You are! Your LOVE O LORD is STRONG.

A Call to Biblical Womanhood: by Nancy Leigh DeMoss

     Due to the modern feminist revolution, the value of women has come to be equated with their roles in the community and in the marketplace. Relatively little value is assigned to women’s roles in the home.

Today, no bouquets are handed out to women for being reverent and temperate or modest and chaste or gentle and quiet. Women are rarely applauded for loving their husbands and children, for keeping a well-ordered home, for caring for elderly parents, for providing hospitality, or for carrying out acts of kindness, service, and mercy. In other words, little attention is paid to the kinds of accomplishment that the Word of God says women should aspire to (1 Timothy 5:10; Titus 2:3-5).

The feminist revolution was supposed to bring women greater fulfillment and freedom. But I can’t help feeling a sense of sadness over what has been forfeited in the midst of the upheaval—namely, the beauty, the wonder, and the treasure of the distinctive makeup of women.

It should come as no surprise that the secular world is confused about the calling of women. What I find more distressing is the extent to which feminism has taken hold within the evangelical world.

         The Feminist Revolution Comes to the Church

            As prominent Christian speakers, authors, and leaders promote an agenda that encourages women to define their worth in the workplace, in society, or at church, we see modern feminism at work within evangelicalism. These same leaders minimize women’s roles in the home as daughters, sisters, wives, and mothers. They don’t seem to see women as bearers and nurturers of life, as caregivers, as those privileged to shape the character of the next generation.

We see the fruit of this revolution in women who are sinking in a quagmire of divorce and remarriage and wayward children. We see it in women who are exhausted from trying to juggle the demands of one or more jobs, function as single parents, and remain active at church. We see it in women who are disoriented and confused, who lack a sense of purpose for their lives, and who are perpetually shrouded in woundedness, self-doubt, resentment, and guilt.

Yes, the feminist revolution has come to the church. And when I add up all the gains and losses, there is no question in my mind that women have been the losers.
As have their husbands and their children and grandchildren. As has the church. As has our lost, unbelieving culture.

         A Counter-Revolution of Biblical Womanhood

            Some years ago a fresh mission began to stir within my heart. Since that time, hope and excitement have replaced my sense of pessimism and of being swallowed up by the feminist revolution.

            A study of the development of modern feminism (feminism itself actually dates back to the Garden of Eden) impressed me with the fact that this massive revolution did not begin as a massive revolution. It started in the hearts of a handful of women with an agenda—women who were determined and intentional in their efforts.

            I began to wonder what might happen in our day if even a small number of devoted women would begin to pray and believe God for a revolution of a different kind—a counter-revolution—within the evangelical world. What would happen if a “remnant” of women were willing to return to the authority of God’s Word, to embrace God’s priorities for their lives and homes, and to live out the beauty and the wonder of womanhood as God created it to be?

         Your Place in the New Revolution

            Unlike most revolutions, the counter-revolution I envision does not require that we march in the streets or send letters to Congress or join an organization. It does not require us to leave our homes. (In fact, for many women, it calls them back into their homes.) It requires only that we humble ourselves, that we learn, affirm, and live out the biblical pattern of womanhood, and that we teach the ways of God to the next generation.
            I invite you to become a part of this counter-revolution, believing that in God’s time the changes that will result will be more profound and on a higher order than any of the sociopolitical changes our world has experienced in this generation.

         Making it personal

            Does the call to a counter-revolution in favor of biblical womanhood resonate in your own heart? If so, be an example of a godly woman to the world. And pray that others will heed the counter-revolutionary call, too.

Royal Respect

She watches over the ways of her household,
     And does not eat the bread of idleness.
{Proverbs 31:27}

Let’s be honest speaking words that build up, edify, encourage, convey love and adoration takes action. It is an effort we as women must make. When I truly look, (perceive), the ways of my household (my husband). I am able with  Love and by the Grace of God to see my husband’s most deepest needs. His need to be Adored and Respected. I see the light, the glow in his eyes when I speak with him with kindness, admiration, and royal respect, there is a softness to him that I am able to see. A sweetness that is like honey to my lips. God has helped me in this area, because I have asked for His help and His divine intervention. God has shown me His Perfect Truth. Everything we need to know. is in the BIBLE; (teaches us how to love and respect our husbands.) I am so Grateful.

Let’s take a look at what the wayward adulterous woman does, how she tries to entice ( a man who DOES NOT belong to her.)

...the wayward woman with her seductive words. {Proverbs 7:5}

With persuasive words she led him astray;
   she seduced him with her smooth talk. {Proverbs 7:21}

With that in mind, oh you better believe, by the Power of God I am going to speak words that build up, edify, encourage, strengthen, Respect my husband and speak in a way that melts him to his knees, I am his wife. And that is no false flattery at all.

My handsome man! My husband, My king,  is sexy, courageous, exuberant, strong and bold. His body is like a pillar of Gold, his eyes are captivating (illuminating), his scent is a fine fragrance, his lips are succulent, pleasant to my taste! I will Lavish him with my love as long as I shall live…

Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest
is my lover among the young men.
I delight to sit in his shade,
and his fruit is sweet to my taste.

Valuable Words

“Wise words are more valuable than much gold and many rubies.”
{Proverbs 20:15}

I know I must put my words into practice (be on guard) and not use my words carelessly. I need the Lord’s Grace, wisdom and knowledge to guide me and teach me. With all my heart I want be a wise woman who chooses her words wisely. I want to use my words to encourage and build up. I want to speak life. I want the law of kindness to be faithful upon my tongue. I pray, that I will be reverent in behavior and in speech. I desire to be a reverent woman and to please the Lord with all my heart.

Of course I fall short and make many mistakes but I am so thankful for God’s saving grace and His transforming power. We can accomplish anything through Christ our LORD. I must surrender to the will of God and always know that I need His help. Let us press on towards the Goal. He is so faithful to help us with all that we need.

"Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction." {Proverbs 18:20}

Dear Heavenly Father,
I need your guidance, I need your help with all things in my life. Please make me aware of the words I choose. May I make the most of every opportunity to be gracious and kind with the words I speak. May I honor and respect people with my words. Please pour your Holy Spirit upon me. Please give me kind, gracious, wise, respectful words to speak. Please let me be quick to listen and slow to speak and slow to become angry. I thank You Lord for all that You are. Thank You for Your kindness, mercy and grace.

In Jesus Holy Mighty Name I pray.

A gracious woman gains respect… {Proverbs 11:16}

Godly Fear

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments:
for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
 {Ecclesiastes 12:13-14}

                   Psalm 111:10 tells us: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts have good understanding… The Fear of the Lord is to have Reverential, Reverent, Respect for the Lord to acknowledge who He is and all of His Splendor. He is Holy, Almighty, Powerful, Just, Faithful, and True. Let us get a deeper understanding of the word Reverential: feeling or expressing deep respect or awe. Reverent: respectful: feeling or expressing profound respect or awe. consideration or thoughtfulness, a feeling or attitude of admiration.

 Proverbs 1:7 also tells us
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

                    The wonderful thing is we can ask our Heavenly Father to fill us with a Godly Fear, and to teach us how to Love Him more and more each day and to give us a desire to want to obey His commandments. We must believe that He is a God who graciously gives and the Lord’s word says; James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. We must believe the Lords Precious Words and His Promises, that is how we increase in Faith- read His word Believe what it says and then implement it (put His words into action) be Doers of the Word. And this is how we produce a Crop (fruit of righteousness, kindness, patience, love, endurance, perseverance.) He guides us and helps us with everything we need.

                  Repentance is Key in staying near to God, Repentance helps us grow closer to the Lord, when we can acknowledge and recognize our sinful behavior whether it be in word, deed or thought; we go through a cleansing process being purified getting rid of all the things in us that displease our Glorious Lord, how Kind and Patient He is with us, His mercies are new everyday. When we confess ours sins He is Just and Faithful to forgive, renewing our spirit cleansing us from all unrighteousness. How thankful I am when I am convicted. Why? Because He leads me in Life everlasting. The Lord God says: “I resist the Proud but Give Grace to the Humble“. Therefore let us humble ourselves before the Lord and confess all our sins that easily entangle us and weigh us down. “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

For we walk by faith and not by sight. Let us Trust Him that He will continue to conform us into the glorious image of Christ our Lord. Philippians 1:6 says;
 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Let us Believe God of His Promises.♥

Transcending Peace

Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
{James 3:18}
In order for me to be a peacemaker, I must lay all my cares and concerns at the foot of the cross. I must cultivate inner peace. I do that by humbling my self before the LORD. Casting all my cares upon Him because He cares about every detail of our lives. He gives PEACE which surpasses all understanding. He says Ask and you shall receive. We receive anything according to His good will. He is the Prince of Peace. We are blessed in being obedient. We are called to LOVE and to love Lavishly because He loves us Massively. He is true to His Word, we can rely on Everything He says. We can be filled with His Peace and extend His Merciful Grace and Peace to all those around us in this dying and hurtful world. Let His will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven.

Dear Lord,
I surrender all. I give you, my LORD and Savior my anxious thoughts, all my cares and concerns I give to You. Teach me Your ways continuously. Show me how to Love the way you Love O LORD. Help me to sow peace, for You said in doing so I shall reap a harvest of righteousness. Pour Your Holy Spirit upon me O LORD lead me and guide me. Please fill my heart with Your Peace and Love, enabling me to be a Peacemaker for You, My Glorious KING.

Let us be filled with peace and show this world what LOVE really is. Let our lights shine so bright that they see the LORD and Give Him all the Glory.
"Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

His Strength

 To know God, is to know His unfathomable Love, His endless Grace, His Merciful Kindness. He is always there no matter what challenges or obstacles we may face in this life time. His Promises are endless, His Love and His Precepts, indescribable. To put your Trust in Christ; gives Strength, Peace, an everlasting Joy. Yes, we go through painful moments in life but He is always there. He has made countless promises that He will never Leave us nor Forsake us. He promises: “Anyone who trust in Him will never be put to shame.”  He provides all that we need, in every detail of our lives. Even those times when it’s hard to see Him and hard to see hope and light in a situation. But the Good News is we can think the unthinkable, believe the impossible because “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” {Philippians 4:13}
we have God’s Glorious Word to believe and penetrate our hearts and minds. We are not alone in this journey. Let us press on and believe God and His countless incredible promises.

Dear Lord,
 strengthen me each and everyday, prepare me for all that is ahead. Help me Lord to always take a step of faith, believing your every word. For Nothing is impossible with You and nothing is impossible for You O LORD. {I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.}
"With God's help we will do mighty things"...

A Beauty that Radiates

What matters is not your outer appearance- the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear, the cut of your clothes- but your inner disposition. Cultivate inner beauty, the gentle, gracious kind that God delights in.
{1 Peter 3:3-4} THE MESSAGE
While most of us, our faces will never grace the cover of glamour magazine, and while Millions of dollars are spent advertising on Fashion and Beauty. God's precious Word tells us over and over again, that Beauty is fleeting, Beauty is vain and Beauty does not last. The true Beauty that radiates is what comes from within. The glow of a beautiful heart. The joy and radiance of pleasant words beautifies the soul. It starts inwardly shinning through outwardly. A pleasant tone and a smile, the LOVE of GOD shinning through one's soul. {Loving God is what True Beauty is.}
Let us except the unique way God made us, let Him Beautify our souls.
{The Beauty that does not fade}

... Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
{Psalm 29:2}

He Reminds Me

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
{2 Corinthians 12:9}

My circumstances sometimes seem impossible but that is when God reminds me that with God nothing is impossible. My faith sometimes feels so weak but that is when God reminds me in my weaknesses that is where I am made strong. Sometimes everything that I see tells me to believe that my situation is hopeless but that is when God reminds me for we Walk by Faith and Not by Sight. Sometimes I feel like I can't make it another day But that is when God reminds me" Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to Your OWN Understanding in all His ways acknowledge Him and He WILL direct my paths. Sometimes my situation seems bleak, but that is when God reminds me "Forget not all his benefits..." Sometimes I feel fear tries to creep on in but that is when He reminds me "The Lord is my strength and my Shield; my heart trust in Him and I am helped. Therefore my heart exults Him, And with my song I shall thank HIM. Sometimes I feel I can't Love the unloving another day, but that is when God fills me with His compassionate Love, Mercy and Grace enabling me to Love in brand new ways. All I can say is God is so worthy of all my Praise.

Let every breath that I breath whisper I Love You Lord, Let every Heart beat that beats skip a beat unto thee. Let every Word that I speak be pleasing to thee.

Lord, everyday I surrender to thee! Shape me, mold me, conform me, transform me into all that you have intended me to be. I seek thee Lord, I need thee Lord. I Love thee Lord with all of my mind, with all of my heart, with all of my soul, and with all of my strength.

Each day that I shall live, I give myself to thee.

Take my Brokenness

My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.

Penitent; feeling regret for sins: expressing or feeling regret or sorrow for having committed sins or misdeeds.

There are so many things in my life that I wish I could have done differently, numerous mistakes and misdeeds I have done. The countless regrets, the countless tears and the countless choices that have torn my heart apart. I’ve lived a broken, humiliated, shameful life, searched for love in all the wrong places only to be more broken than I was before.
Proverbs 4:23 NIrV says: "Above everything else, guard your heart.It is where your life comes from."
Your heart, your life, your words, your purity, your body is worth more than diamonds. God's Word says we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We belong to the KING of kings, The PRINCE of PEACE, The Great I AM.
I have learned in my brokenness, in my darkest hours, the shame that once covered me, the look that once destroyed me. The substances that once controlled me. The music that played out the scene’s of my life. My life was spinning out of control. When I could have wished my life would be over. I once Hated me and all that I did. But God’s Mercy and Grace found me, while I was yet a sinner Christ died for me “For the entire world” When I am broken and when I cry out to the LORD, His Love covers me, surrounds me, I am engulfed by a love that I cannot explain. His LOVE is unfathomable! He fills all the emptiness in my heart. He puts all my broken pieces together. He is a GOD of Redemption, He saves and makes all things Brand New. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!“ 2 Corinthians 5:17

Let God be the one who fills you and makes you whole. We don’t have to search any longer, We can believe His countless promises.We can search His Word and believe everything He says. We can count on His Unfailing Love, His Merciful Grace.

"For I know the Plans I have For You, Declares the LORD, plans to Prosper You and Not to Harm You, Plans to give You Hope and a Future." {Jeremiah 29:11}

Merciful Grace

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You

   I am So grateful that the Lord’s mercies are new each and everyday, So thankful for Christ (The Lamb of God) who takes away the sins of the world. As far is the east is from the west so God removes our sins and remembers are sins no more. What a blessing it is that we can call upon the name of the Lord in times of trouble, when we are struggling with sin in our hearts. I know I must do a heart check, search deep within my heart and let not, any root of bitterness, resentment, un-forgiveness, anger that turns to hatefulness; I must never let these dwell within my heart, I must give all my grievances to the Lord and lay my burdens down. More than often, I rather stuff them all away just to find theses feeling surface later on. It Drags me down spiritual because I have neglected to take all my cares and concerns and anxiety’s to the One who truly cares and waits so patiently; “our Glorious Heavenly Father.”

 Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; And attend to the voice of my supplications.
 In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me. {Psalm 86:6-7}

Certainly, He hears us from heaven, He inclines His ear to our cry and fills us with His peace, strength, grace, mercy and love. Guiding us every step of the way. I know there are many times I need to learn to wait patiently for the Lord to help me through the tough times in life. The Lord is my Rock, my Redeemer, My Shelter, My deliver! I can dwell in the shadow of His Wings, trusting that GOD will work out every detail of my Life.

  “For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.” {Psalm 86:10}

His Lovingkindness, My Stronghold

The Lord’s Lovingkindness has carried me through every distress in my life. Being a Military Wife is an Honor and a Privilege. Military Lifestyle has it’s challenges and without the LORD in my life I would not be able to last a day walking in combat boots. I use that figurative of speech because I am constantly fighting in the battle grounds of my own mind.

Philippians 4:6 says:
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

When anyone cries out to the LORD, He hears the cries and the pleads. I have learned to approach God’s Throne of Grace boldly, taking my anxious heart and mind to Him because He cares for all of us. As Military Wives we spend many nights apart from our husbands. My heart often feels empty and lonely. My thoughts at night sometimes torment me. But the GOD of the Universe says gently to all of us:  “cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.” {1 Peter 5:7 }

When I take every tear, every fear, every hurt, all of my brokenness and emptiness to the LORD, O He sustains me and fills this broken vessel up over and over again.

1 John 4:18 tells us:
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.”

I must admit at times I am tormented with fear and fear grips me. The thought of my dear husband falling out of love with me or finding fulfillment somewhere else. But the devil is a liar and the enemy has only come to kill, steal and destroy. Then God reminds me of the perfect love He pours so graciously in my heart. I refuse to believe the lies of the enemy, I refuse to let my emotions control me, I refuse to disrespect my husband because of the delusional thoughts that try to creep in my mind and steal my joy. I TRUST my LORD and SAVIOR because all of His ways are Prefect and True, He leads me beside quite waters, He Restores my Soul. I am made Complete and Whole in Him alone. God is more than enough. My storms in Life may seem so big at the time but that is when I’m reminded “in times of weakness I am made Strong.” He pours His Strength, Mercy and Grace into my soul, therefore my soul Rejoices in GOD my Savior. His Word is my Daily Bread, His Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. {Psalm 119:105}

LORD, Father GOD I thank You for Your Loving kindness, The GOD of Comfort, The Prince of Peace. Thank You for graciously pouring Your peace within my heart easing and casting away all my anxious thoughts. The emptiness that is within me, You fill me once more till my cup runs over enabling me to extend your Lovingkindness. LORD please keep my mind steadfast upon You. I need you every second, minute, hour all the days as long as I shall live. May I lay my life down and take up my cross daily and faithfully.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: {Psalm 103:2}

Crown or a Thorn? by Katrina Smith

My favorite book of the bible has always been the Book of Matthew but if I’m running behind and need quick wisdom, I read Proverbs. Proverbs can be quite uncomfortable to read. Why? Because it hurts! It holds small bits of wisdom with a powerful punch. They convict you down to your very core with just a few short words. Last night I read one that made me think, “OUCH!”

“A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones.” Proverbs 12:4

If you really read them and then research the definition or root of the words that were chosen, then you will see why they were chosen.

Crown – “A royal headdress or cap of sovereignty, worn by emperors, kings, princes, etc.”

Rotten – “A state of putrefaction or decay; decomposed; made weak or unsound by rot.”

Crowns are placed on a person’s head when they are deemed royalty. If you are respected as a woman of noble character, because you are kind, positive, giving and supportive, your husband will be deemed a king. Your character and reputation can elevate his position in life. Now, if you are a woman of disgrace, by being bitter, throwing tantrums when you don’t get your way, always thinking in a selfish manner, then it is like rottenness to his bones. Wow.

The bible chose “rotten” as a word, meaning, your poor character will cause him to decay as a man emasculating him in every since of the word, all the way to the bone. Now before I get jumped on by the women, let’s give an example of a real time occurrence.

Right now as I write, I can guarantee you there is a man in the ARMY stationed in Afghanistan where he has been sleeping in the desert for 7 months on ground that shakes constantly from bombs going off. He just longs to get home to see his family, take a shower and eat some real food. His son was barely sitting up when he last saw him and now he is walking. His wife calls him weekly and she is nagging him about being away and how she feels lonely, how this is rough on her and how all she does is take care of the baby. She needs a break but little does he know that she has been flirting and mingling with an ex-boyfriend and spending all of their money and maxing out their credit cards while all of their bills are falling behind. Next week, one of his friends will write to tell him of the betrayal.

On the other hand, a fellow soldier that is stationed with him also has a wife and a child and she works as a teacher but there have been cut-backs and just lost her job. Her students always made care packages and cards to send to the soldiers thanking them for their service and sacrifice. They are having financial trouble but she picks up a part-time job at the local restaurant to keep their home and goes to bible study at the same church that they were both baptized and married in. She stays 30 minutes after every single bible study in private prayer. When her husband calls, she begins the call with prayer and then uses uplifting words of encouragement, wisdom, loving support and gives him the courage to hang in there.

Now, which man will likely be focused on their mission? Which one is more likely to rise in rank and position? Which will be in a better state of mind to lead and inspire the teenagers that were just enlisted, trained and shipped? The one that is being built up, encouraged and supported or the one being nagged, belittled and betrayed?

Women are either cranes or a bulldozers; a crown on his head or a thorn in his side. We have the ability to build a man up or tear him down; to give him honor and respect or bring him pain and misery. Our character, attitude and actions have a direct affect on his masculinity, the very thing that makes him a man. They were created to cover, redeem, provide and to protect and we were created to give, support, encourage and motivate. It is suppose to be a team effort. If we both are doing our jobs, then there is no need to worry. Love is not self-seeking.

For the women... seek to become a crane not a bulldozer.

For the men... choose wisely!

Be blessed!

Happy Birthday!

To My handsome man of God, words could never express my gratitude… I love you so much and I have so much to be thankful for. The beautiful family That God has blessed us with, it‘s more than I dreamed of. We have been through the storms of life, you have stood by my side for better or for WORST. You have seen me at my absolute worst, the good, the bad, the ugly. I could never thank you enough for enduring our fiery trials. You have loved me through it all, despite my ugly, corrupted past, my numerous mistakes. You have never thrown my past back in my face. I desire transparency with you and with the world because I know in being transparent I have nothing to loose. I’ve learned that being broken has brought me gently to my knees. Therefore my soul glorifies the Lord. Out of all the women you could have married, I thank you deeply for choosing me. Have a very blessed birthday my king.

I realized that it's good and proper for a man to eat and drink. It's good for him to be satisfied with his hard work on this earth. That's what he should do during the few days of life God has given him. That's what God made him for.
Sometimes God gives a man wealth and possessions. He makes it possible for him to enjoy them. He helps him accept the life he has given him. He helps him to be happy in his work. All of those things are gifts from God. A man like that doesn't have to think about how his life is going. That's because God fills his heart with joy. {Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 NIrV}

May your heart be filled with the Joy of the Lord as long as you shall live!
Baby, Enjoy your day and all the days that God has given you! I love you profusely.

Massive Respect and Adoration,
Mrs. White

The Son

Take my Son.....

A wealthy man and  his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had
everything in their  collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would
often sit together and admire the great works of art. When the Vietnam
conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died
in  battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and
grieved  deeply for his only son. About a month later, just before
Christmas, There was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door
with a large package in his  hands..

He said, 'Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son
gave his life. He  saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to
safety when a bullet struck  him in the heart and he died instantly...
He often talked about you, and your  love for art.' The young man held
out this package. 'I know this isn't much. I'm  not really a great
artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have  this.'

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by
the young man. He stared in  awe at the way the soldier had captured the
personality of his son in the  painting. The father was so drawn to the
eyes that his own eyes welled up with  tears. He thanked the young man
and offered to pay him for the picture.. 'Oh, no  sir, I could never
repay what your son did for me. It's a  gift.'

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came
to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed
them any of the other great works he had collected. The man died a few
months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many
influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and
having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection. On the
platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel.
'We will start  the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid
for this  picture?'

There was silence... Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, 'We
want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.' But the auctioneer
persisted. 'Will somebody bid for this painting? Who will start the
bidding? $100, $200?'

Another voice angrily said 'We didn't come to see this painting. We came
to see the Van  Gogh's, the Rembrandt's. Get on with the Real  bids!' But
still, the auctioneer continued. 'The son! The son! Who'll take the
son?'

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the
longtime gardener of the man and  his son. 'I'll give $10 for the
painting...' Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.     'We have
$10, who  will bid $20?'
'Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters.'
The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the  son.
They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.
The auctioneer pounded the gavel.. 'Going once, twice, SOLD for  $10!'
A man sitting on the second row shouted, 'Now let's get on with the
collection!' The auctioneer laid down his gavel and said 'I'm sorry, but
the auction is over.'
An angry voice came from the crowd 'What about the paintings?'

'I am sorry. When  I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a
secret stipulation in the  will... I was not allowed to reveal that
stipulation until this time. Only the  painting of the son would be
auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would  inherit the entire
estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!'

God gave His son over 2,000 years ago to die on the Cross. Much like the
auctioneer, His message today is: 'The Son, the Son, who'll take the
Son?'
Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything!

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER
BELIEVETH, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE
...THAT'S LOVE
